Concrete Production Facilities
Concrete production facilities include concrete batching and mixing plants, but at PA-PO, such equipment is just the start. Concrete production involves several stages of a process—all part of an industrial organism. A vision based on manufacturing systems is needed to obtain higher productivity and enhanced quality.
Raw material storage and handling, temperature modification (heating and cooling), with automated feed to in-plant storage, is an initial step. Concrete production facilities are designed with either custom material handling components or by selecting specific standard features—but all coming together under a master planned design providing higher performing products.
Fabrication of custom facilities is undertaken to a master design, often developed by our industrial architects and industrial engineers working closely with owners and their general contractors in our role as Construction Managers. PA-PO Industrial Systems can also work as Owners’ Representatives or as Engineer, Procure, Construction Managers (EPCM), for not just batching and mixing machinery installations, but for entire facilities--integrated to create an industrial organism with all componentry working in harmony.

- Oversight of machinery and equipment installation
- Commissioning and optimization of integrated systems
- Turnkey management facilitation
- Development of safety, maintenance, and operations documentation
